DUNCAN — A Chickasha teen is wanted as a youthful offender for allegations he robbed his friend’s mother of $600 at gunpoint.
The Stephens County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant for Hayden Ridge Mosier, 17, for a felony charge of first-degree robbery, records indicate. The crime is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Due to the violent nature of the charge, Mosier was charged as a youthful offender, meaning he’s eligible for adult prosecution and consequences.
Duncan Police Officer Nathan Hicks stated the woman said Mosier had come to her home around 1 p.m. Friday and asked for his jacket before walking inside, pulling a handgun, and taking $600 cash from her wallet before leaving, the probable cause affidavit states. She said she’d withdrawn the money from the bank earlier that morning.
The woman recognized Mosier as a friend of her son she knew as “Boogie”, the affidavit states. She said he left in a silver Lincoln and police then issued a “be on the lookout” alert out among law enforcement, Hicks stated.
