CHARLESTON, S.C. — Zachary Shell, Lawton, has been named to the Fall 2023 President’s List at The Citadel.
The President’s List, one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel, is a combination of the Dean’s List and the Commandant’s Distinguished List, and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.
In addition, Shell was awarded gold stars, a designation given to cadets who achieved a grade point average of 3.7 or higher. Cadets may wear gold stars on their uniforms throughout the semester following their academic achievement, while a gold star recognition certificate is given to non-cadet students.
