April is a young adult feline in need of a special family who will keep her as an indoor pet. She came into the shelter very ill, and, with treatment, is recovering very well. She appears to have a permanent kink in her neck, however the condition does not affect her ability to eat, drink, or do normal cat activities. This girl is sweet as pie, loves affection, kids and is good around dogs and other cats.
April will be spayed, vaccinated against rabies, and available for adoption at the end of next week. An adoption fee of $30 is required.

Elgin Animal Shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
