Mark Hill started the TNT league off with a nice front ten game of 289 and stayed on point, adding 246 and 245 for a super 780 set to lead this week’s honor roll.
Bruce Flack was also in the groove on this particular night, coming in with a 757 set that went 234, 279, and 244 and Bill Cox made the show from the other side of the lane with a 719 on games of 278, 203, and 238.
Meanwhile James Ray and Matt Ray rounded out a good night of scoring in TNT at Thunderbird Lanes. James was consistent with games of 235, 234, and 237 for a 706, topping his kiddo, who isn’t such a kiddo anymore, by two sticks. Matt rolled 238, 209, and 257 for a 704.
Our top scoring bowler on the senior front was Jeff Janssen. Janssen was putting in some sub time for the Socialites league where he put games of 278, 214, and 237 together for a 729.
Teri Jester’s 623, which was the ladies’ high set of the week, also came from this league. The high game for the gals, a 259 by Judy Lloyd, was a product of the Early Birds.
Jason Olnes continued his reign in the Tuesday Night Mixed, this week with a 703 on games of 221, 256, and 226.
Tim Lundquist conquered the elements when no one else could, posting a 702 in the Suburban. The Suburban league has been a hot spot the last few weeks, but in this session, Lundquist was the only bowler to bust 700, rolling 235, 198, and 269 to make the news reel.
And Andrew Petering made the cut with a 701 set from the Early Birds, where he had games of 224, 240, and 237.
Honorable mention goes to Friday Night Mixed Rollers’ Shannon Coleman Sr, who neared the century mark with a 265 game bowled off a 168 average.
Youth Highlights
DJ Scott was the HotShots U12 bowler of the week with a 427 series that went 144, 134, and 149. Peyton (TY) Smith held up the U18 Legends with a 628. Smith had a slow start of 159 but made the adjustment to add games of 225 and 244 to save the set.
Coming Next Week…
Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, the Senior No-Tap for Nov. 8th was canceled. Results from last week will be in next week’s bowling news along with results from the Shop with a Cop Fundraiser. We can tell you that the Comanche Nation Police Department and the Lawton Police De-partment had a great time raising funds for the Shop with a Cop event, but the winner of the Champi-onship Belt was not known at press time.
