Lawton Public Library will hold a free Lunch & Learn session on financial literacy Monday.
The two-part series, presented by Fort Sill Federal Credit Union, is designed to provide valuable tools and insights to help participants confidently manage their finances.
Scams Targeting Seniors will kick off the series at 11 a.m. Monday, teaching participants how to protect themselves and loved ones against common scams targeting seniors. Fort Sill Federal Credit Union will discuss the latest scam tactics, provide tips on how to identify and avoid them, and offer advice for those who think they’ve been scammed.
Getting Out of Debt, set for 11 a.m. Friday, will help pave the way for a better financial future by learning practical strategies to tackle debt head-on. This seminar will teach participants how to create a personalized debt repayment plan, budget effectively, and make wise financial decisions to achieve long-term financial stability.
