It took two days of trial and an hour’s deliberation for a former Geronimo High School principal to be found not guilty of assaulting a student in March 2022.
The misdemeanor trial of Heath Ryan Selcer, 42, of Geronimo, in Comanche County Special District Judge Susan Zwaan’s for a count of assault and battery began with jury selection Monday, records indicate.

Following the initial court filing in April 2022, Selcer has since been terminated from his position with Geronimo Public Schools.
