OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin, has been appointed to five committees, in time for the legislative session that begins Monday.
Deevers will serve on the Business & Commerce, Education, Administrative Rules, and Energy & Telecommunications committees, and the Appropriations Subcommittee on OMES/ARPA Oversight.
“I am honored to have been appointed to serve on these committees, and I am eager to get to work addressing the critical issues facing Oklahomans,” Deevers said. “From fostering economic growth and ensuring quality education for all students to protecting Oklahomans’ constitutional rights, I am committed to working diligently on behalf of my constituents and the entire state.”
Deevers was elected in a special session in late 2023 to represent Senate District 32, filling the unexpired term of former Sen. John Michael Montgomery.
