ELMORE CITY — A Marlow woman is in critical condition following a Wednesday morning wreck in Garvin County.
Dallas Rose-Strutton, 53, was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in critical condition with a head injury, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Rose-Strutton was driving a Nissan Pathfinder SUV northbound on Oklahoma 76 around 4:10 a.m. Wednesday when she failed to stop at the intersection with Oklahoma 29, continued north through the intersection and struck an embankment, Trooper Chris Earnhart reported. She was wearing a seatbelt.
While failure to stop at the sign was blamed for the wreck, Rose-Strutton’s condition when it happened remains under investigation.
