Wanted for an arrest warrant for fentanyl trafficking, police learned a woman was suspected of setting up a man for a May 3 robbery as well.
On Friday, Hailie Michelle Dunn, 21, of Lawton, made her initial appearance in Comanche County District Court where she was charged with a felony count of conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, records indicate. The crime is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Dunn also made an appearance where she was charged with a felony count of unlawful use of a telephone to commit fentanyl trafficking and a misdemeanor count of obstructing police, according to records.
Lawton Police Sgt. Hunter Phillips stated he and other officers went to the area of 2504 SW Jefferson shortly after 8:30 p.m. May 14 in an attempt to arrest Dunn for the drug trafficking warrant issued on May 7. Dunn ran from officers when she saw them but was arrested, the probable cause affidavit states.
The robbery victim told investigators that Dunn had set him up to be robbed by Qu-Von Smith, Phillips stated.
Dunn implicated herself in the robbery by saying she knew the victim had money and she’d planned it with two other suspects, Smith and another unidentified person, the affidavit states. She said she drove to pick up the victim. During the robbery, Smith is accused of beating the man up and of taking his wallet and cash, according to the charges.
Records indicate charges were filed Friday against Smith but he has not been arrested.
Dunn received $20,000 bond for the robbery count and another $20,000 for the drug trafficking count. She returns to court at 3 p.m. July 30 for her preliminary hearing conference, records indicate.
