OKLAHOMA CITY — Three area artists are among those who will be displaying works in the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition Members Show at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum in Oklahoma City.
The exhibit, to be on display now through Sept. 14, is being offered through a partnership between the coalition and the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Michele Pierce, Frederick, and Eve Cornejo and Krystal Solis, both of Duncan, will display works in the oil category. They are among more than 50 artists displaying more than 70 2D and 3D works, coalition members said.
“The OVAC Members Show is an exciting opportunity for Oklahoma artists to showcase their unique works and provide visitors with a deeper appreciation for the arts in general,” said Mattie Barlow, assistant director of archives & curatorial projects and curator for the show.
A reception for the show is set from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at the museum. The reception and artist panel are free to attend.
The museum, contained within the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, is located at 1400 Classen Blvd., Oklahoma City. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
