COMANCHE — A Newalla motorcyclist was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital following a Friday wreck in Stephens County.
Sean M. Lowe, 42, was flown to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in serious condition with arm and internal trunk injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Lowe was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on U.S. 81 shortly before 5 p.m. Friday when he lost control and laid the bike down, Trooper Kyle Keithley reported. The driver, who was wearing a helmet, separated from the bike when laying it over about 1 mile north of Comanche.
The roadway as closed for an hour and 12 minutes following the wreck.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation, Keithley reported.
