Oklahoma Connections Academy, a tuition-free online public school serving Oklahoma students grades K-12, celebrated the graduation of 108 students in May. Out of these graduates, six came from Comanche County.
The graduating Class of 2024 represented many students from various cities and towns in Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Bartlesville and many more, according to a press release. Forty-seven percent plan to enroll in two- or four-year colleges or universities, 12 percent plan to enter into the workforce and 2 percent are entering the military.
Oklahoma Connections Academy currently has more than 1,300 students in grades K-12 throughout the state, the release said. Students are supported by Oklahoma certified online teachers who encourage academic and personal growth through interactive curriculum tailored to fit each student’s academic needs.
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is now open for grades K-12. Families interested in the Academy are encouraged to attend an online information session to learn more, ask questions and discover if virtual school is the right fit for their student.
