ANADARKO — A Duncan teen is wanted for a bat attack in Fort Cobb.
Investigators said a location app led him there.
The Caddo County issued a felony arrest warrant Tuesday for Christian Ramos, 19, for a felony count of assault, battery or assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a misdemeanor count of threatening to perform an act of violence, records indicate. The felony is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Lead Federal Law Enforcement Officer with the Bureau of Indian Affairs Joel Ramirez stated he was called shortly before 7:30 p.m. May 27 to the home in rural Fort Cobb. The man who took the brunt of the beating said he was told by a woman at the home that Ramos had sent a text message threatening to kill him, the warrant affidavit states. The message included, “Imma kill dis (expletive).”
Soon after the text was received, Ramos arrived to the home by obtaining its location through the woman’s “Find My Friend” app, created a disturbance and pulled out a bat from his vehicle and assaulted the man, the affidavit states. When leaving, Ramos is accused of saying he “… will be back, and I will cap that (expletive,” Ramirez stated.
