Lawton Public Library will host a Making Moo-Lah youth financial class Friday.
The event, designated for children ages 5-12 and their caregivers, is set from 2-3 p.m. in the library, 110 SW 4th.
Welcome to the Farm! is a collaborative simulation where players will work together to see if they can run a financially successful farm. Players will learn essential financial concepts like saving, spending, sharing, and budgeting while having fun, organizers said. The event is part of Thinking Money for Kids, an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation that strives to teach children and their parents, caregivers, & educators about financial topics.
