Lawton Public Schools will be hosting its annual Elementary Showcase Talent Show today and Thursday.
The events are set for 6:30-8 p.m. both nights at McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris. Admission is free.
Elementary Showcase is an opportunity to “showcase” the talents of the district’s elementary school students, said Lynn Cordes, LPS executive director of communications. Performances will celebrate the diverse talents and abilities of students, to include singing, dancing, gymnastics and bucket drumming.
Each elementary school in the district will have at least one group performing, she said.
