Lawton economic development entities have scheduled a second town hall meeting with Westwin Elements on Dec. 4.
The session is set from 6-8 p.m. at McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris. It is being hosted by the Lawton Economic Development Authority, Comanche County Industrial Development Authority, Lawton Economic Development Corporation and the City of Lawton.
Officials with each entity will be available for questions about the pilot cobalt refinery and its impact on the Lawton-Fort Sill community, city officials said.
The second town hall will be structured slightly differently than the first. In an effort to cut down on the repetitiveness of questions, citizens are asked to submit questions beforehand to [email protected]. A designated person in the audience will take questions from citizens to relay to officials on stage.
During the last 30 minutes of the town hall, citizens will be able to ask additional questions that were not discussed prior. All questions submitted to the email address listed above, along with any day-of questions, will be answered. The meeting is open to the public.
