OKLAHOMA CITY – Optometric physicians in Lawton, Elgin and Altus will be participating in the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physician’s fifth annual Giving Sight Day.
The event is designed to provide free eye exams to patients in need, with many locations holding vision clinics Sept. 28 but others adjusting to community needs. Each clinic will have different protocols and requirements, OAOP said, adding the full list of participants is available at Oklahoma.AOA.org.

Lawton: Dr. Chris Swanson at Complete Eye Care, 4250 Cache Road; phone (580) 248-0061. Exams will be given from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments are necessary.
Elgin: Dr. Bryce Geiger, Dr. Karlee Dearman and Dr. Madison Rhodes at Geiger Eye Care, 7758 U.S. 277, Elgin; phone, (580) 454-1756. Exams will be given from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 25. Appointments required by calling (580) 454-1756 during business hours and letting the office know you are scheduling for Giving Sight Day.
Altus: Dr. Michael Geiger at Geiger Eye Care Altus, 809 E. Tamarack Road, Altus; phone, (580) 482-1756. Exams will be given during the week, Sept. 23-27. Appointments required by calling (580) 482-1756 during business hours letting the office know you are scheduling for the Giving Sight Day. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
