Plans are nearing the final phase for the annual Holiday in the Park, which will open Nov. 16 and last for eight weeks.
There will be many updates to different activities including mini golf and other displays. Some include updates to a Santa hat and parts for it.
The route for the Frost Your Fanny race will be changed due to the planned construction of the aquatic center. The race will not be along Northwest 6th Street; board members are still trying to find alternate routes.
Chief’s Ice House will be managing the Holiday House.
German organizations will be selling Christmas ornaments at the festival for an upcharge.
One coffee vendor will not participate this year. Holiday in the Park board members are still looking for replacement vendors.
Volunteer dates for setup are Oct. 25-27 and Nov. 1-3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided for 50 to 200 people.
