Last week’s top series came from the TNT league at Thunderbird Lanes, where Mark Hill rolled games of 248, 259, and 274 for a high series of 781. Jason Owen was the second-highest with a 740 series from the Suburban league at Twin Oaks, posting scores of 246, 257, and 237. He tied with Chad Perry of the Early Birds, whose 740 series included games of 256, 216, and 268.
Following Perry was James Middleton, who deserves recognition for the most consecutive strikes in league play last week. Middleton started the night with a four-bagger, spared in the fifth frame, and then went off the sheet for a 279 opening game. He stayed in the zone in game two, running the front seven to put together fourteen strikes in a row between his first two games. Middleton summed up game two with a 246 and added a 194 closer to finish with a 719 series, including an ‘Andy Varipapa 300’.

Lewis Bailey rolled a 279 game to start the His and Hers league, contributing to a 715 series total. Andrew Jones shot back-to-back 245s after starting the TNT league with a 220, summing up a 710 series. Christopher Dickerson stayed consistent, finishing with a 706 series in the Tuesday Night Mixed league, with games of 238, 235, and 233.

Congratulations are in order for Michael Sneed, who rolled a 267 game, 104 pins over his average, in the Friday Nite Mixed league. Cathy Shuman achieved a career-high game of 244, 106 pins over her average, in the Socialites league. Shuman also finished with a career-high series of 527.
Youth Bowling
Peyton Smith led the U18 Legends youth bowlers with a 629 series on games of 212, 247, and 170. DJ Scott continued to dominate in the U12 HotShots, scoring 178, 197, and 181 for a 556 series.
The high school bowling season is in its final stages. Teams recently competed at Sooner Bowl in Norman where the Eisenhower Girls and the Elgin Boys both earned a spot in the State finals, which will be held at Oakwood Bowl in Enid next weekend.
Bowling on the Eisenhower Girls team are Ali Biscaino, Elysia Palma, Leilana Stroh, and Yi-jia Yu, coached by Bill Kaplan. Kaplan wished to thank James Biscaino for filling in for him as he was sick and unable to attend the Regional, but wild horses will not keep him away from State.
Deborah Johns is the coach for the Elgin Boys team consisting of Gabe Rush, Sage Rush, Jake Croft, Brayden McIver and Nick Beard.
We wish them all the best.
