Sure, everybody wants to be an “Easy Rider” on their motorcycle but it takes more than desire.
That’s why the Lawton Police Department is offering a free motorcycle school for freewheeling bikers to become safe bikers.
The next class will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 30 in the Dillard’s parking lot at Central Plaza, 200 SW C. As of Wednesday morning , there are three open spots left, according to Sgt. Christopher Blessing, LPD information officer. Registration is required.
Requirements are a valid “L” endorsed driver’s license, a street legal motorcycle, insurance, a helmet, gloves, eye protection, a long-sleeved shirt and boots covering the ankle.
To register, contact Sgt. Tanner Josey, Tanner.josey@lawtonok.gov; or call 580-581-3270 ext. 3186.
