ELGIN — A fatal wreck east of Elgin Saturday night is under investigation, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
James W. Walker was driving a Ford 5-150 pickup when a collision occurred with a Chevrolet Impala at 8:54 p.m. ½-mile east of Northeast Kleeman Road that killed the unidentified Impala driver, Trooper Cory Byrne reported. The driver of the Impala has not been identified pending next of kin notification.
Walker, 50, of Fletcher, was treated and released from Comanche County Memorial Hospital with head and internal trunk injuries, Byrne reported.
The wreck, including the cause, conditions of the drivers and whether they were wearing seatbelts remains under investigation.
