In-person absentee voting will continue today at the Comanche County Election Board for voters in the Fletcher and Chattanooga school districts who will decide funding proposals.
The ballots are among multiple early elections being held in counties across Oklahoma, in advance of Tuesday’s regular election. The funding propositions — $115,000 for a baseball/softball facility and $250,000 for vehicles for Fletcher Public Schools, and $815,000 for buildings and $85,000 for vehicles for Chattanooga Public Schools — are the only ones in Comanche County. But, in Jackson County, Altus voters are deciding two city council races, while Tipton Public Schools has a school board seat on the ballot in Tillman County.
Comanche County voters who want to vote early may cast ballots at the Comanche County Election Board, located in the Comanche County Courthouse, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. today.
