Cyril man to serve 25 years for child sex abuse

ANADARKO — A Cyril man will serve 25 years in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to 14 counts of sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl that continued for six years.

Jeffery Reginald Moyer, 33, of Cyril , pleaded guilty in Caddo County District Court to three counts of first-degree rape, seven counts of forcible sodomy, and four counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16, records indicate.

Judge David A. Stephens sentenced Moyer to 50-year sentences for each count with 25 years suspended and 25 to serve, records indicate.

Moyer pleaded guilty to committing repeated abuse of the girl between April 2016 and April 2022. He is also accused of forcing the child to perform oral sex and of inappropriate touching.

Moyer receives credit for time served. He has been held on $700,000 bond since his initial appearance Aug. 12, 2022.

Moyer also pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony counts of cultivation of a controlled substance and obtaining signature or property under false pretenses. He received two more 10-year prison sentences with credit for time served.

All sentences in both cases are to be served concurrently, records indicate.
