WALTERS — Two women and a man are accused of conspiring to steal cattle in Cotton County.
Monday, arrest warrants were issued in Cotton County District Court for Michelle Dee Collier, 46, of Marlow; Danny J. Howard, 38, of Comanche; and Stevee Elizabeth Miller, 45, of Rush Springs; for charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, larceny of domestic animals, records indicate.
A man called law enforcement after he went to pick up 15 head of cattle from a Temple rancher to take to auction and they weren’t there. According to the warrant affidavit, Collier and Miller were caught by law enforcement officers with the cattle loaded into a trailer and on the way to a cattle auction.
Collier and Miller made initial court appearances Thursday and are being held on $5,000 bond each; Howard is not in custody, according to court records.
Miller also received a misdemeanor charge of possession of methamphetamine. If convicted of the felony, she faces up to 11 years in prison.
Due to prior felony convictions, Collier and Howard face up to life in prison if convicted.
