Lawton Arts for All is hosting its annual Gala from 6:30 to 10 p.m. November 1 at the Great Plains Coliseum, 920 SW Sheridan.
This year’s theme is “Flappers & Gents … A Night at the Speakeasy”, according to a press release. Anyone can get glitzed and glammed in their 1920s attire and enter a world of glitz, games, music, dancing, food and fun. There will be hundreds of chances to bid on dozens of items from trips, jewelry, fine art, dinner parties and more. There will also be live music, a “bootlegger’s banquet,” a cash bar with “Prohibition Spirits” and a live and silent auction.
All proceeds go to Arts For All, the nonprofit umbrella organization for The Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, Lawton Community Theatre, Wichita Wildlight Photographic Society, the Lawton-Fort Sill Art Council and Lawton Pro Musica.
