James Biscaino got an early birthday treat last week, rolling what’s likely his 30th career perfect game. Bowling in the Tuesday Night Mixed league at Twin Oaks Bowling Center, Biscaino warmed up with games of 212 and 201 before nailing a perfect 300 in game three.
It had been a while since Biscaino hit this milestone, and though he looked a bit shaky on the final throw, his years of experience paid off. The ball hit the target perfectly, and the rest is history.
Biscaino’s last 300 game was bowled at South Bowling Lanes, Sheppard AFB, TX, back in 2020. Locally, his last 300 was bowled in 2019, contributing to an 806 series in the Scratch Trio league at Thunderbird Lanes.
In the TNM league, Biscaino finished with a 713 series, following Jim Bomboy who led with a 734 on games of 258, 237, and 239, and Malden Smith who rolled 224, 223, and 278 for a 725.
Jeff Keesee is back in action, bowling in the TNT league, where he almost had a perfect game but came up one pin short on his final roll, settling for a 299. Keesee is credited as the youngest bowler to roll a 300 game at Walter’s Bowling Center years ago.
In this set, Keesee started with a 268 before running 11 strikes in game two for the 299. Despite a tough game three, scoring 187, he achieved a 754 total. James Ray wrapped up with a 708 in the TNT league, rolling 258, 235, and 215.
League Highlights
Tim Lundquist led the series honor roll with a 772 in the Suburban league, combining games of 268, 247, and 257. Biscaino followed with a 738 on games of 239, 244, and 255, just a few days before his perfect game.
The His and Hers’ league was buzzing with high scores. Michael Pierson posted a 738 on games of 218, 275, and 245. Brant Hill zoned in for a 723 series, with games of 213, 242, and 268, while Troy Hardin earned most consistent honors with games of 239, 235, and 237 for a 711. Camden Sublett rounded out the night’s high rollers with a 700 even on games of 225, 243, and 232.
Andrew Jones was the Early Birds star player, finishing up with games of 279 and 265, after a slow start, to sum up a 731, followed by Brant Hill who rolled 710 the day after his 723. In this set, Hill had games of 258, 198 and 254.
For the ladies, Teri Jester topped the charts with a 698 in the Socialites league, scoring games of 236, 247, and 215. Honorable mention goes to Laneta Lutonsky, who bowled a career-high game and series in the Ladies Night Out league at Twin Oaks. Lutonsky, with a 139 average, rolled games of 174, 213, and 200.
Youth League Highlights

Symphony Smith achieved a career-high 612 series in the Legends, with games of 186, 232, and 194, outperforming her older brother Peyton, who finished third highest with a 606 on games of 199, 205, and 202.
