Bridge work is prompting state officials to close traffic lanes on Interstate 44 at East Gore Boulevard early Tuesday.
Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation said eastbound and westbound lanes (run north and south) will be closed from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, meaning interstate traffic will be detoured to the on and off ramps for East Gore Boulevard. That will allow drivers to bypass the interstate under the bridge, state officials said.
Traffic delays are expected, state officials said.
