DUNCAN — Two people were killed Sunday from a motorcycle wreck south of Duncan that remains under investigation.
Jackie D. Bryant, 41, and Elizabeth M. Bryant, 45, both of Duncan, were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, 2 miles south of Duncan, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Jackie Bryant was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed on a curve eastbound on an asphalt county road shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday when the bike turned over and slid on its side, striking a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Morgan G. Strawn, Trooper Mason Lang reported. The motorcycle driver was not wearing a helmet.
Strawn, 21, of Duncan, was not injured.
Although the cause of the wreck was reported as traveling at an unsafe speed on a curve/turn, Jackie Bryant’s condition at the time of the wreck remains under investigation.
