An arrest warrant was issued Thursday morning for a Lawton man accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.
The Comanche County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant for Randall James Drake, 35, for a count of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 12, records indicate. He faces no less than 25 years in prison if convicted.
The girl’s grandmother filed a report with Lawton police on Feb. 28 where she said the 10-year-old girl told her Drake had on multiple occasions fondled her and would pleasure himself in front of her, the warrant affidavit states.
A forensic interview with the girl was conducted on March 5. She said Drake would come into her room after she’d shower and touch her inappropriately as well as grab her hand and make her touch him, too, Detective Robert Meurant stated. She also said he’d forcefully taken her pants off and touched her inappropriately, according to the affidavit.
The girl also said Drake would watch pornography and touch himself and has made her touch him, the affidavit states.
A $50,000 cash warrant bond was issued upon Drake’s arrest.
