Holiday in the Park: Elmer Thomas Park, Northwest 3rd and Northwest Ferris. Open 5-10 p.m. weekdays, and 3-10 weekends. Free, but donations accepted. Some events have fees. Winter Rink, open 5-10 p.m. weekdays, 3-10 p.m. weekends. $10 with skate rental; $8 if you have your own. Tuesdays, kids 10 and under free. Train ride: $5. Today through Sunday: Living Nativity Scene, beginning 6 p.m. nightly.

MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights: Campus of Midwestern State University, 3410 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas. Displays turned on dusk to 10 p.m. through Dec. 26. Free, but donations accepted. Some activities have fees.

Chickasha Festival of Light: 2400 S. 9th Street, Chickasha. Displays turned on 6-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 6-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, through Dec. 31.
