Almor West Elementary — Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Week celebrated; Almor’s recorder players will perform at the school board meeting.

Carriage Hills Elementary — Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Week celebrated — One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Day, all wear red & blue.

Central Middle — 6th grade in auditorium, 8:10 a.m.; group/club pictures taken today.

Crosby Park Elementary — Read Across America Week/ Dr. Seuss celebrated — Green Eggs and Ham Day, all wear green.

Edison Elementary — Read Across America Week/Dr. Seuss celebrated — Oh the Places You’ll Go! Day, dress like a tourist.

Eisenhower High — Book Club, 2:30 p.m.

Freedom Elementary — Read Across America Week celebrated — Be an MVP, wear your favorite team or dress up as your favorite player.

Hugh Bish Elementary — Spring Book Fair open all week; wear your favorite team jersey, uniform or colors.

Lawton High — Tabletop Club, 2:30 p.m.

MacArthur High — Cheer boosters Freeze Dried Candy fundraiser; K Pop Club, 2:30 p.m.; NHS, 2:30 p.m.; 21st Century Grant club meetings throughout the week — Art & Design, College 101, Debate, Podcasting, Literature, Health & Cooking, Credit Recovery, Math Tutoring, and Writing; Cheer & Dance informational meeting, 6 p.m.

Pat Henry Elementary — Read Across America Week/Dr. Seuss celebrated — Cat in the Hat Day, wear your favorite hat; World’s Finest Chocolates candy bar fundraiser kicks off and will run all month.

Sullivan Village Elementary — Read Across America Week/ Dr. Seuss celebrated — Green Eggs and Ham Day, all wear green; Spring Book Fair here all week.

Tuesday

LPS Life Ready & Career Fair for all 11th grade students held at First Baptist Church, 9:15 a.m. — 1:45 p.m.

Carriage Hills Elementary — Cat in the Hat Day, wear your favorite hat and add red & white stripes.

Crosby Park Elementary — Cat in the Hat Day, wear your favorite hat; field trip for 4th/5th grades to OKC Thunder Blue game.

Edison Elementary — The Day the Crayons Quit!, dress in grade level colors.

Eisenhower High — Fishing, STEM, African American, and Photography Club meetings, 2:30 p.m.; Academic Team practice, 2:30 p.m.; Ceremonial first pitch thrown out by Superintendent Hime and Dr. James at the baseball field with the new turf, 5 p.m.

Freedom Elementary — We Are Wild about Reading!, wear wacky/crazy socks/hair/hat. Run Club, 4 p.m.

Hugh Bish Elementary — Wear overalls or other outdoor/picnic clothes; Mario Kart, 4 p.m.

Eisenhower High — Boys Soccer Booster Club meeting in commons, 8:15 p.m.; Tabletop Gaming Club, 2:30 p.m.

Freedom Elementary — Oh the Places You’ll Go!, wear something that represents a place you have lived or visited.

Hugh Bish Elementary — Wear bright or neon clothing.

Lawton High — Native American Club, 3 p.m.

Central Middle — Orchestra auditions after school; 5th/6th grade Solo Festival, 3:45-6 p.m.

Crosby Park Elementary — Dr. Seuss Day, dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character; PTA popcorn/pickle orders and money due today for delivery Friday.

Edison Elementary — Thing One and Thing Two Day, dress like Thing One or Thing Two or twin with someone.

Eisenhower High — Anime, Drama, Spanish and GSA Club meetings, 2:30 p.m.; Youth & Government and NHS meetings, 2:30 p.m.; fencing in the auditorium, 3 p.m.; Speech & Debate to Regionals.
