WALTERS — Southwest Oklahoma law enforcement is on the lookout for a 31-year-old Temple man accused of being involved in a May 21 stabbing in Walters.
An arrest warrant was issued Friday in Cotton County District Court for Bryce Edward Lee Hartman for a felony count of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, records indicate. The crime is punishable by up to life in prison.
Hartman is accused of stabbing another man during an incident late on May 21 in the 100 block of North Ross Street. The victim suffered stab wounds to his head, his back and a third elsewhere, according to Walters police.
Records indicate Hartman has August 2017 felony convictions for aggravated assault and battery of an aged victim as well as unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Investigators said Hartman was last seen wearing blue jeans and walking a dog. He is considered armed and dangerous and if seen, call Walters police, 580-875-3343.
Crime Stoppers of Southwest Oklahoma also has put out an alert for Hartman. You can call 580-355-INFO (4636), or email: www.crimestoppersofswok.com. As always you may remain anonymous.
