City of Lawton officials have announced that residents may place their storm debris at their curbside for pickup by city crews.
The debris will be collected at no charge, but may remain at residences for an extended period of time because of the amount of debris expected from Thursday’s storm.
Residents should adhere to the same guidelines they use for their monthly bulk curbside pickups, to include bagging loose yard waste, cutting tree limbs to no more than 6 feet and piling them, and keeping all debris at least 5 feet away from all obstacles and ensuring they are not under any power line.
