DUNCAN — A Saturday afternoon wreck southeast of Duncan killed a 77-year-old Tussy woman.
Dalila McKee, 77, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in serious condition with head, arm, leg and internal/external trunk injuries. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol she died from her injuries around 4 p.m. Saturday.
McKee was the passenger in a Ford Escape driven by Darin V. McKee that was traveling westbound on Oklahoma 7 around 1 p.m. when he went off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason, rolling the vehicle and unknown number of times before coming to rest on its wheels about 3½ miles southeast of Duncan, Trooper Jacob Mackey reported. The driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts.
Davin McKee, 55, of Bartlesville, refused treatment at the scene.
Mackey reported the driver’s condition and cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
