EMPIRE — A Stephens County man is in the hospital from injuries sustained in a Friday night wreck near Empire.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Donald R. Mott, 68, of Comanche, was admitted to Duncan Regional Hospital in stable condition with head and chest injuries.
Mott was driving a Chevrolet Silverado shortly after 7:04 p.m. when he wrecked 1 ½-mile east of Empire, Trooper Amy Bell reported. He was wearing a seatbelt.
However, what happened, Mott’s condition and what caused the wreck remains under investigation.
