The Friday Nite Mixed Rollers at Twin Oaks, Fort Sill was the setting for last week’s honor as news was received that Tim Sprawling posted a 299 game to close out a 702 series. Sprawling had games of 179 and 224 to set up for the closer where, after 11 strikes in a row, the 10-pin stood in defiance of a perfect score.
According to the USBC, Sprawling has one 300 game to his credit, rolled in March of 2013, almost twelve years ago. Sprawling had a good week in all, posting a 706 series in the Golden Years league the day prior to this honor. In that set, Sprawling had games of 257, 226, and 223.
The high set of the Friday night mixer came from Chris Dickerson, who went 249, 231, and 268 for a 748, followed by Armour Brown with games of 224, 254, and 239 for a 717.
Taking credit for the week’s top series was Tim Lundquist, shooting 256, 254, and 268 for a big 778 series in the Suburban league, also at Twin Oaks. Tory Morales followed with the night’s only other 700 series of 731, thanks to his 259-254 closing games.
Richard Jacoby was happy to be back on home turf after a rough weekend bowling in a SASBA event in Rowlett, TX, and led in senior league action with a 727 in the Socialites on games of 256, 235, and 236.
Craig Fain tipped the scale at 718 for the Goodyear league high set, scoring 248, 234, and 236, and Tyler Price banked the 3-6-9 strike-pot bowling in the TNT league, where he rolled a 708 on games of 225, 246, and 237.
Honorable mentions go to Taylor Smith of the Ladies Night Out league, who, bowling off a 98 average, had games of 131, 164, and 150 for a career-best series of 445. Greg Jones of the TNT league joined the honor roll for his first time, posting a career-high 235 game off a 145 average. Jones started with a 195 game and ended with a 188 to post his first career 600 series of 618. Congratu-lations to Rafael Macias for posting his all-time high game of 236 while bowling in the Goodyear Mixed.

Peyton Smith was the TBird Legends bowler of the week with a high game score of 235, contributing to a 583 series. Congratulations to Richard Resler for achieving a career-high score of 135 in the TBird HotShots U12 league.
Maddox Swietek took advantage of being the only bowler on the floor for the TOBC Oak Trees and rolled a 559 series, which included a 214 middle game. Swietek was alone because the rest of the league was participating in the State High School Bowling Championship tournament at Oakwood Bowl in Enid.
