The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Stephen T. Hulen, 32, was flown to Duncan Regional Hospital where he was admitted in fair condition with head, neck, leg and trunk injuries.
Hulen was driving a Jeep Cherokee westbound on West Camelback Road around 12:15 a.m. Sunday when he went off the paved roadway to the right, struck a tree and rolled an undetermined number of times before coming to rest on its roof at the intersection of North 42nd Street, ¼-mile west of Duncan, Trooper Jacob Mackey reported. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pinned inside for an unknown amount of time before Duncan firefighters freed him.
The driver’s condition and cause of the wreck remain under investigation.
