Eleven Comanche County residents filed for school board seats Monday, the first day of a three-day filing period.
The only race that shaped up Monday was in Cache between Mitchell Dorrell and Casey Honeycutt.
No one filed for the Lawton Public Schools seat, which is held by Mary Bradley.
Cindy Sheppard filed for a seat on Great Plains Technology School. The seat is currently occupied by Ann Acers-Warn.
Candidates have until 5 p.m. Wednesday to file. Applicants can file at their county election boards, which in Comanche County is at the Comanche County Courthouse, 315 SW 5th Street.
