Work is planned for the traffic lanes of Interstate 44 Monday, as long as Mother Nature doesn’t interfer.
Weather permitting, eastbound and westbound I-44 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane between U.S. 62 and Oklahoma 36/U.S. 277 from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, then nightly through Friday to allow for pavement marking. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said drivers also can expect intermittent ramp closures each night. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
