DUNCAN — Free popcorn and a big screen experience outdoors is expecting visitors of “Movies in the Park” this summer at the Fuqua Park in Duncan.
The events are presented by The City of Duncan and The Palace Theatre and will begin right after dusk at around 8:45 p.m. on June 8, July 13 and Aug. 10, according to a press release. Concession will be available for additional movie treats, and visitors are encouraged to remember to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
All movies are PG-rated. On June 8, “A Dog’s Way Home” (2019) will be shown, “Jumanji” (1995) on July 13, and “Lyle Lyle Crocodile” (2022) on Aug. 10.
Movie cancelations or rescheduling may happen due to inclement weather. Visitors are encouraged to check duncanok.gov or the City’s Facebook page for updates.
