Take a cakewalk along the aisles of pies and cakes at the annual Pie and Cake Fair at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at 2007 NW 52nd.
Carol Hart, OSU Family and Consumer Science Educator for Caddo and Comanche Counties, said they co-host the event with the McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Rehabilitation Center.
“We have it out of their facilities and they have some residents who also compete in the contest,” Hart said. “They won the cake contest last year with a carrot cake.”
Hart said they have a lot of entries, but they usually get around 10-20 contestants.
The event is free and open to the public.
