DUNCAN — U.S. 81 in Duncan will narrow at Beech Avenue Monday as the Oklahoma Department of Transportation launches a street improvement project.
North and southbound U.S. 81 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction from Beech Avenue south approximately 2.5 miles from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day, beginning Monday. Crews will be patching multiple locations along U.S. 81, then will begin narrowing lanes intermittently for an asphalt overlay.
The work is expected to last through August.
