Kimber Elaine Cook was born at 6:29 a.m. New Year’s Day at Comanche County Memorial Hospital to parents Shyann Mills and Dalton Cook, making her the hospital’s first baby of 2025.
Both baby and mom are doing well.
“It’s different but it’s a good feeling,” said Shyann, a first time mom.
Her daughter was originally due Jan. 11, but Kimber was sure to greet the new year with her family.
She was born at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, 21 inches long at 6:29 a.m.
Her family is in love and “recovering well. We’re excited to raise her and keep all the news articles and videos to show her when she’s older,” said mom Shyann.
