Lawton’s municipal swimming pool will open at noon Saturday for the summer season.
The opening will depend on weather conditions, City of Lawton officials said.
The pool will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, free of charge following action earlier this spring by the City Council.
Other aquatic facilities also are open for the summer: the Elmer Thomas Park splash pad, open daily from 8 a.m to 8 p.m.; and Clement Washington Splash Pad and 35th Division Park wading pool, open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no charge.
