An allegation of taking advantage of his girlfriend while she was passed out had the law on the lookout to arrest a 34-year-old Lawton man. On Thursday, he was arrested.
The Comanche County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant Wednesday for Steven Michael Dissette for a count of rape by instrumentation, records indicate. The crime is punishable by between five years to life in prison.
Following his initial appearance Thursday in Comanche County District Court, Dissette is being held on $35,000 bond. He returns to court at 2 p.m. Dec. 13 for his preliminary hearing.
