Lawton police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects in a Sunday robbery attempt.
Officers were called to Atwoods, 1820 NW 52nd, regarding a possible robbery. It was learned the two suspects tried to break into a firearms case using a hammer but were unsuccessful, Lt. Charles Whittington, Lawton Police Department information officer said.
“Luckily no employees were at the counter when the damage happened, and no weapons were taken,” he said. “The suspects fled the scene.”
Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene.
Whittington said the Criminal Investigation Division your assistance in identifying the individuals shown in stills from the security video.
