The Lawton Social Security Administration office is no longer set to close, according to Representative Tom Cole’s office.
The office was originally reported to be closing due to being found on the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) website. It is no longer listed.
According to Olivia Porcaro, the office is no longer set to close after “Congressman Cole worked closely with DOGE and the Administration to ensure the Social Security office lease in Lawton will not be terminated.” Porcaro also stated that no federal offices in Oklahoma District 4, Cole’s district, are set to close any longer.
