The Lawton Public Library will hold a free Lunch & Learn series focusing on financial literacy from noon-1 p.m. April 17 and 26.
The two-part series, presented by Fort Sill Credit Union, will equip others with the tools and knowledge to navigate their finances with confidence, according to a press release.
The first in the series, Keeping Your Information Safe in a Digital World, will discuss the importance of protecting one’s personal information in today’s digital age. The session will equip others with strategies to create strong passwords, avoid online scams and safeguard their online presence, according to a press release.
The release said the second series, Learn to Budget for Financial Success, dives into budgeting fundamentals and provides practical tips on creating a workable budget. The session will give tips on managing other’s money effectively while showing them to take control of their finances and plan for the future.
