Lawton Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday afternoon at 2324 NW Dunstan Lane.
When officers arrived at the northwest Lawton location at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, they located a victim with a gunshot wound, police said in a statement. The victim was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
Police are asking those who live in the area to check their security footage to see if it captured anything pertaining to the incident. The department will release more information as it becomes available, police said in a statement.
