Lawton police are investigating a homicide at 4033 NW Ozmun that occurred early Sunday morning.
The police department posted the announcement on its Facebook page Sunday morning.
The posting says the police were called to the residence at 37 minutes after midnight about a male suffering a gunshot wound. When officers arrived, the located the man and rendered first aid, but the man later died.
The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating, according to the posting.
